Mike Wotton

Associate Professor - Status Only

Mike Wotton is a Senior Research Scientist with the Canadian Forest Service (Natural Resources Canada) currently stationed at the University of Toronto as part of the Institute of Forestry and Conservation in the Daniels Faculty. He works closely with fire management agencies from across Canada to develop models of processes in the physical environment that have critical influence on wildfire behaviour and which can be used in wildfire response planning and operational activities. He also uses these approaches to explore the impacts of climate change and Canadaโ€™s options for mitigation and adaptation.ย
