Kendriah was a master’s student in the Firelab, supervised by Dr. Mike Wotton. Kendriahโ€™s research focused on wildland fire evacuations in Ontario. Specifically, Kandiahโ€™s research focused on using FWI indices and other metrics of fire severity to examine fire danger and evacuation occurrence in Ontario. Kendriah began her career in wildland fire in 2019 when she began working for the Canadian Forestry Service (CFS) working on a contract on fire-risk and land use related projects. Throughout her master’s work, Kendriah has continued to work for the CFS on multiple Research Affiliate Program Work (RAP) terms. Recently, Kendriah began her position as a wildland fire modelling and analytics specialist for the MNRF.
